i used to play and i was pretty good, but then i stoped for a while, and i cant play crap anymore. so if you want to stay good at it you have to practice atleast 3-4 times a week.

I used to be pretty heavy into guitar and then for some reason I stopped. Its only hard if you want to get better and play stuff that you cant already, so if you want to be a solo man like I was its never going to get any easier, but rhythm never really gets any harder once you know the majority of the chords and strumming patterns.

Just for the record; I used to know pretty much all the theory, could solo in any mode in any scale with my eyes closed, and could play songs people think are crazy like Fury of the Storm, Eruption, and Canon Rock. I slowed down because my school workload got heavier and eventually just stopped altogether, now I dont know anything anymore.

I used to play, stopped, and recently I bought a new one (acoustic).

I can't play worth crap now, so I have to re-learn...

Wow; a pearl Ibanez Jem VII with a floating whammy, Abalone Vine inlay, and a monkey grip. Thats a bloody nice guitar for a 13 year old, where did he stumble on the 2 grand needed to buy it?

My buddy has exactly the same guitar, it plays soooo beautifully. This guitar is about as nice as it gets.
