Sounds like the the heli is not recieving a signal. Is the transmitter batteries weak? They will freak out if they get no signal. Could be transmitter is dead.

well, i just got it today. everything is all charged. But i don't know why it would even do this. This is WAY too dangerous to be throttle full power if there are no signals.

I just bought it from raidentech.com last week, and it just arrived today. Any other idea before i try to get an exchange?

Try disconnecting the motor and see if the servos respond to all the transmitter commands. If they respond correctly, remove the main blades and reconnect the motor and see how it behaves with throttle commands. for some reason the AA batteries that come with it go dead in a few minutes, mine did. try replacing the transmitter batteries with new ones.

I agree after I got hit with mine too I now remove the blade if I test motor or disconect the moter if I play with the radio programing.

But mine the RX crystal was dead. I installed channel 54 to TX and RX and its perfect now, not even a glitch.

As for batteries to even use the supplied AA ,get good quality new ones.

As for my arm its not cut but swolen and I was even holding the heli good but when it went crazy it was hard to hold and pull the battery wire, it was the scariest seconds ever

I know what your talking about with the blades spinning up & down uncontrolled. I found out the hard way by grabbing the wrong transmitter! I grabbed my Blade CP Tx and went out in the night. Its like trying take a bone out of a pitbulls mouth so to speak. Till this day, even with a DX7 & AR6100 installed, I unplug the battery or motor when picking up the heli.

I had a hard time adjusting my JR9303 on it since my receiver is a 5 channel, I manage to change the channel by mix but still not perfect.
I re-installed the original E-Sky radio but with my new Crystals and change the Axix and the flybar since they were bent but had no idea it was that much.

Took my courage with 2 hands and fired up in living room and shure enough I had a nice short hover now playing it safe I will wait for wind to calm down and will try outside [image][/image]

thanks for all kinds of reply. Well, i was just reading this thread ( http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_6249026/tm.htm )and it just helped me alot!

basically, all i need to do is power up my transmitter first, then my heli. WELL who would have guessed? I had a eflite cp pro for a while now and it didn't matter which way it was turned on.

But phew, i didn't have to send it back to them, so that was a relief. Didn't feel like waiting 2 weeks and paying 50$+ on shipping.

But, now it's working perfectly!!!!!!

Ouch, must have hurt. I always thought that when the helicopter wasn't getting a signal from the transmitter it would automatically shut down everything... I must have been wrong.

WOW you have been pluging in your heli before your TX
You have been lucky up to now!
If you still have that CP you may want to try those crystals in the HBK2 maybe they will have less interference in your area. Not all frequencies are created the same.

I just went to a DX7 2.4 Ghz. It more money to spend and set up, but it sucks to have your HBK2 crash or damaged from a Tx/Rx glitch or failure. I rather crash it myself. Don't need any more help from the Tx/Rx in that dept.

As for the Blade CP, the Rx has the 4 or 3 in 1 ,mixer and fail safe program in it. Since this is now a 6 channel, the mixing is in the Tx, and the Rx is just a signal reciever only. Yes, a better Rx could eleviate this, but then thats more money also.
