X-cell Fury -> Help with Choice of Small EDF Model – HET Super Sniper from Warbirds RC (8/18/2007 12:00:11 PM)

Hey guys,
There are a few threads about small first EDF models at the moment but not wanting to hijack other peoples have started my own.
I too am looking for my first EDF model and have already learnt a fair bit from recent threads.
I am a proficient pilot both in fixed and rotary disciplines; however do not have the building skills to match!
A friend of mine had a Tiger Shark as in the link below and that was ace, flew great but I wanted something just a little bit bigger.

So I stumbled across the Multiplex Twister and thought that would be perfect but have read that it is a little sluggish. Now I don’t necessarily want a supersonic model (I have turbines for that) but something with a little bit of poke. If anybody has seen/flown the Tiger Shark above – that had enough speed for what I want.
In another post somebody mentioned http://www.warbirds-rc.com/ so I took a look and I think the Super Sniper would be perfect for me. It looks great, is a good size, I imagine it would have a reasonable speed and from the instructions, think it is within my building capabilities.
So I am just appealing to anybody who has flown/owned/seen one of these for their opinions. Or is there anything else I should be considering?
