Status: online 		I have a shorter Dynam Vortex Flybar and would like to try some lighter weights for it.
I've read (here) about locking collars available at LHS's but I don't have one...at least not within 100 miles.
I do all my helicopter parts buying on the internet.

So, does anyone know where can I get something that will work, online?

I'm considering the Blade CP flybar weights, they look lighter, and like they would work.
Any idea?

That should get you to the part or at least a description of the part. They are sold by all hobby shops that service aircraft hobbies, so your favorite on-line supplier will have them. The shipping charge from Du-Bro is $7 so the little collars get sort of expensive if that's all you order. Maybe using the description and Du-Bro part number, you can combine this order with something else from your on-line shop and get the cost down.

Status: offline 		Yeah...I just shot over to ACE to pick some up and they did not have the super small ones. That is after kid told me they stocked nothing like it...we both learned something...off to the HS later...

Thank you, I know what to look for if the above doesn't work out. Probably Tower Hobbies or the like will have them.

Hey, question for ya. I tried to PM you but I don't think I was successful. It seems I have more difficulty with this crazy internet forum stuff than I do flying, repairing and modifying an RC helicopter.
Anyway, in your Overall CX/CX2 Setup paper you state that the flybar linkage must be turned a full 360 degrees because it is directional. The manual states that the linkage can be turned in half or full turns. Any idea which is correct?
BTW, I have been flying with the Dynam Vortex flybar which had to use the bottom half of the linkage from the stock part (The DV loop was too small to fit around the CX2's ball). It was flying great until a minor incident that broke both lower blades. I replaced them, and the uppers, but in order to get back to where I was I had to turn that bottom, stock, linkage one half turn from where it was to get back on track.

Status: offline 		At each new set of blades (i REALLY need those blade grips!) i have to use half turns to get them in track as well.
I can't figure out why it would be directional?! I tend to turn them that they 'line up' with the balls as best as possible, whilst keeping the blades in track.
I'm using a Protech flybar, and also had to change the lower linkage to fit the eflite blades.

Wolf, so you are flying again?! Great news! I might have read that already, but then i forgot .
