Hi,

I'm learning to hover my HBFP, tail-in mastered already and now I'm practising other orientations ... Very good heli for a newbie...

Ok, but my question is more hypothetical here...

Namely, if I'll ever need to order & replace the TX or if I'll ever need to order & replace '4 in 1' --
-- how can I ensure that frequencies match again after replacement of either of those parts?

For instance..

If I need to order the new TX, do I need to specify exactly the frequency of the old and broken one within my order (so that they can send the new one already configured to my freq)?
Or I need to somehow (but how?) adjust the right frequency after it's received?

Example2..

What happens if '4 in 1' is dead and I need to order the new one? Do I need to order the new one specifying its frequency in my order, or - I would need to adjust the frequency after new '4 in 1' is delivered?

These are just newbie questions, I know, still valuable for me

thx,
/Denis

Both the transmitter and 4-in-1 receiver have replaceable frequency chips or cards. When you have to buy either, you just remove the crystal from the old one and put it in the new one. Look on your transmitter and you'll see what the frequency is. The crystal is on the lower left front of the transmitter face.

Yes, I can see the crystal on the TX...

How can I replace the TX's crystal and placing it onto the new TX - just by using some force to remove it from the TX?

And regarding '4 in1', what's the procedure of replacing the frequency chip and placing it into the new '4 in 1'?

thx

you pull it out and push it back in (both Tx and Rx)
