I spent many a days and nights with my TC3. I LOVED drifting that chassis once I had it nailed. Once I had it nailed down, I went out and bought a Yokomo. I totally loved the easy of maintenance. Less parts than my TC3 and I loved the fact that I basically used a 2.0mm driver for 90% of my work on it. With the TC3, I always had to change drivers when working on it and parts broke more often. But it was a great drifter. I think what helped it ALOT was being able to shift the batter forward.

I'm now drifting my LCG. The thing flat out ROCKS. I couldn't be happier with my drifter now. With a front one-way, rear spool, Yokomo softs all around, I've run this thing how many sessions now without breaking a part, not having to readjust a diff or fiddle with the alignment. Before every session though, I do make sure that all the screws are nice and snug. I've got a Rayspeed too that I use indoors to drift on carpet. The setup is stiffer on that one.

My other chassis? I've got a TA05 that I'm almost done with and haven't tested and a TA03F that has never seen asphalt and only 50% built. More testing to be done in the future. I've been saying this the whole summer about my TA05 but I've been enjoying my LCG so much, I can't myself to try the TA05. I have a feeling though that when I do try the TA05, I'll be extremely happy with it. The mid-chassis motor mount, the belt drive for smoother acceleration, the smoother Tamiya TRF shocks, I can't see where this setup can go wrong.

I think the whole "comparing apples to oranges" has been the main problem on this thread...

no one is looking beyond the DP
