I have a gentleman that has PM'ed me asking for the proper CG on the Whip and I REALLY want to confirm it with other folks first. I recently change engines to a Novarossi-50 with full pipe so my CG may be slightly off from previous-

I show 10.5 inches back from the front of the engine rails at the center of the airframe. Can you folks kindly confirm any measurement you have? I just took my K&B-48 UT combo off to install the Nova and I do not want to mislead this gentleman.


Hell, I have had 3 that all flew just beautifully but I cannot find my manual or my Excel spreadsheet with the CG.

As you probably know, a CG request in the speed forum is URGENT since none of us trust the manufacturer and this guy might be ready to fly this weekend if he has the proper CG-

Also, I am totally wasted So I would appreciate confirmation of CG-

Move your fingers back and forth until the plane balances!
When the nose and the tail stay level your good!
Being wasted will make it that much easier to locate!
If I really knew I would tell ya' but couldn't pass up the "your it syndrome response"!

CG: Any plane, any color, it will fly at 25% MAC for the CG.

as I recall 2.5" back from the front edge of the radio hatch

Except a Delta is usually 15% MAC for the CG.
