The RDS8000 receiver specs and pricing will be published soon, I promise! Obviously separate receivers are important to new users of the radio so they can outfit their planes to use the enw radio. As for the looks of the transmitter, some people like the way the RD series looks, some don't. I recognize it is not an all-new radio. It is an RD8000 in 2.4GHz format. However, it is a nice, capable radio that flies most sport models and helicopters with ease. The sticks have a great feel, the transmitter is light and manageable, and the computer is really easy to use. Online at www.airtronics.net we not only have the original manual published, but Jack Albrecht has gone through the radio and documented how to make the radio do some of the more specific functions customers ask for. The radio has lots of support and we have pilots out in the field, using the radio everyday. Mike Greenshields Product Manager Global/Airtronics
