Do you want elevons or flaperons? It sounds more like flaperons, where you have a normal elevator on it's normal channel, but you have 2 aileron servos that can move both ailerons up or down together as well as the normal aileron operation.

Elevon is what you use on a flying wing, when the elevons are used for both pitch and roll.

If you are using Elevon, you shouldn't have any problem. You need to set the wing type to elevon in trackI, and use your elevon servos in channels 1 and 2.

Now, if you mean flaperon, the Tracker's flaperon mix assumes that you will have the flaperons on channels 1 and 6, so you can't do it normally with a 4 or 5 channel RX. Instead, you could use a P-mix, and mix from channel 1 to channel 4. (I'm assuming you'd use 4, since you'd want to leave throttle on 3 and elevator on 2, so you'd use the rudder channel, which is 4). Since you're using the rudder channel here, you'll need to set the channel 4 EPA to 0%, which should disable the rudder stick.

(Obviously, if you are doing flaperons on a 4 channel RX for any TX, you're using 2 channels for ailerons, so you only have 2 channels left. It seems rather pointless to try to do flaperon on a 4 channel RX, I don't think I've ever seen anyone do it with out using 5 or 6 channels)

With elevons on, the servos seem like they have reduced throw. Is that true otr have I missed something. I've put in 120% on both aileron and elevator and had to use very long servo arms.

Does reduced servo throw come with elevon wing function?

yes, it does, actually. It's one of the odd things about the Tracker III. When you use elevons, it holds back some travel from the aileron function so that the elevators work, and vice versa. That way the servo never "runs out" of travel. Other brands of radio are more willing to just send a signal to the servo for more travel than the standard says is possible. Which approach is "better" is for the user to decide, but it is something to keep in mind with the TIII at times.
