Any tips on water proofing (ok, water resistant) exposed servos? dilithium grease, wd-40 etc.
Thanks in advance

If you can maintain a grease seal at the output shaft, that would seem to be half the battle. For the seams in the case and for the pigtail grommet, 3M Scotchkote is the ultimate waterproofer......but it might be over kill here.

I saw an idea published in a magazine years ago of taping a small sig clear canopy over the exposed servos, leaving a hole big enough for the pushrod to go through......

The absolute best thing for water proofing electronics is Corrosion-X.

Take the servo and receiver off, spray Corrosion-X all over the PC board and hang it up to drop dry. When it does, it will be bullet proof to water.

You can search the web for their web site. Watch it, they'll try to sell you a 50-gallon drum like the marine industry. Full size ships and oil rigs, etc., use this stuff.
