(what is a Titan kero start?)

the P-160 is called a Titan, Kero start means it uses a high current ceramic glow plug and ignition is off of kerosene rather then propane.

I would only have one start and flight with the 1250mah nicad , and recharge before each flight , the supplied batteries can be charged at up to 5amps , which is very quick , if you in a hurry to fly again soonest!! I have a NH90 with the p80 turbine for hellis , and a 2400amh nicad , it gets 4 starts on gas , and 2 starts on kero + flights SAFELY!!
Dave.

Sorry KC36330, didn't know that. Back here in Eurotown we just call it the P120.
Yes kerostart is known to me , I'm about to buy a new P160 (with kero of course.)...

Dave of course it is wise what You do, but after the kerostart, even if it barely makes the start, there is always plenty of juice left, as the normal drain of the battery, even at full power, is way down.
But I agree, stay away form a possible failed start, especially with built-in turbines as in choppers.

That may of been a typo there when you put 120, it's the 160 that is a Titan, what you're about to buy is a Kero Start Titan, and if you're getting it New it should be a Titan SE.
