Hi all.

Just a quick question with regard to the awsome new extra 300s.

I have found it needs a few clicks of right trim on the rudder and a little right trim on the ailerons to maintain straight and level flight. Understanding that not all models fly the same and I am using 3W power ( not that it makes any difference ).
When you pull to the vertical the model still wants to go to the left and, when in straight level flight you then close the throttle the model turns to the left quite gentle and very flat as if on control line wires.
The model is absolutly straight and true but, the only thing I have not yet done is a lateral balance although the model tracks fairly well in both inside and outside loops.

Do you think I need to add just a touch more right thrust, although this would not help the wander to the left when at idle.

To those of you out there who have put more hours on their models and those with more knowledge, Any ideas.

Regards

Aero..................

No they don't!! I'm not going to go into all the testing that's been done but they don't. Most other oils work out better.

As for the rudder trim, I'd just set my Tx mixes up to deal with minor corrections. It won't be the same power on and up and it will power off and down, regardless of the thrust angle.
