Maybe you've upgraded it so much it is actually 1/1 scale now and thats why the pic is so big.

Rich what I meant to say is what do you need over all to make this conversion, like what dogbones or any other parts did you have to buy to do this, I would like to do this upgrade but im on a budget, so in order to do a basic savage diff swap what would it take? keep in mind that I would be just fine with plastic parts, the aluminums just dont like to be bashed

well i got over $2000 into mine.you can upgrade to savage lower arms and hubs they will bolt to your diffs. but if your on a budget i go with the aluminum upgrades for the volcano lower arms are about $30 per set. and upgrade to traxxass t max shocks witch you can find good deals on e bay they bolt right up too.and the traxxas shocks will lift your truck a few inchs. rims and tires look up hpi wheelie king mud thrashers they bolt right up and their a nice rim and tire.get rid of your yellow plastic rims or green.the wheelie king are chrome.with all that you should be fine.just keep a eye on your tranny gear its plastic and breaks off alot.and volcano has no up grade for it.but i do, a offna tranny it has a metal gear duel brakes.but you have to modify your truck to use this hope i helped.

http://www.junfac.com/shop/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=7&zenid=3e4a7bb6da19ee788580f31f7a8c2f18 go down there is ones to turn 12 to 14 and keep 12 but widen, and ones to widen and turn 12 to 14, im not perfectly sure if they will fit though.

OK, there are so many pages here, I'm getting confused. I'm looking for some upgrades for my Volcano SV Pro with the Infinity motor. I have upgrade the header only...and this truck has lots of aluminum, so I'm thinking clutchbell and gear changes. It also sounds like HPI has some good stuff. How about 12mm Hex wheels and tires?

I'm open to any and all suggestions?

Thanks
JAm
