if you have another reciever i would say swap the cryatals and see if it works then, or visa versa, swap transmitters.

you cant mix a 27 with a 72, they have to be the same, (reciever and transmitter)

a computer radio has an lcd display and you can adjust many settings with it digitally.

I have heard that the Redcat AM radio is bad. I have two recievers that I could replace it with. I have the Traxxas TQ and the Cen Racing DSX. Which would be the least glitchy?

somehow the light are making the servo's glitch, you may still have the same problem with a 3 channel too, its hard to say. They may be interfearing with them through the wires or thru the airwaves. can you make them light up without plugging them into the servo wire to see if it still makes the servo glitch, maybe using a 9 volt battery.

the servo's use 6 volts so anything 6 volts or less is ok to run thru them. i would just check and see before you start buying another reciever or radio setup

make sure you run a failsafe if you use them, they are interfearing with the reciever and could cause a problem.
