Pretty strang problem for sure! I am sure the parts are still available..

Do you have the manual? If not, you can go to TamiyaClub.com and sign up, and download them..

Then look up the part # and hit TamiyaUSA's website!!

I think they are similar to diff that other Tamiya uses, though, so I think it should be easy to get the parts..

Ok, I still have the manual. Just aged metal maybe then? I'd hate to buy some more and repeat the same thing. Maybe the slots for the "Y" is worn which alllows the gears to slip.

Well, I went to the LHS and he had a set of differential gears for it. He said he use to race staduim blitzers on his track when they came out, so he still has lots of replacement parts for it kicking around. Since I was there I also got a full set of ball bearings for it so now everything has ball bearings in it.

I just got done taking it for a spin, only on 7 cells nimh. I like the control I have with it on that voltage. Not very high speed but insane acceleration.

Make sure you use metric pinion if you go w/ Robinson Racing stuff...

ive been useing that pinon for about 40-50 runs, and the gears still look brand new

Had a lot of fun running the Blitzer today.. blew out both front and rear tires.. (one each..) Need to re-glue.. but nothing broke!!
