About 30 years ago, a friend of mine and I got the plans from RCM, built our man and did about 30 jumps. My friend then got into real skydiving and we quit dropping the man. A couple of years ago, I got him out of storage and did a couple of jumps. Unfortunately, on his last jump he landed on top of a very high pine tree where he stayed until Katrina blew him to who knows where. About a month ago, I did my first skydive - a tandem from 10000 ft. I called my friend to tell him about it, and after a couple of conversations decided to start jumping rc again. I really like the Wilga and the Pilatus Porter -- anyone know a source of plans on the 10-12 foot size for these planes?

Welcome back to RC Skydiving. Re: plans for the Porter or Wilga you might want to check on the Giant Aircraft forum.

thanks JuanF! There is a European firm that makes a wilga arf/kit -- but big bucks! May just have to continue using my Sr. Telemaster. I have thought of kit-bashing the 12 telemaster into a Pilatus Porter

Banzai55, I have a Senior Telemaster with an 8' WS that I have been using for over 10 years. I originally had a Super Tigre .75 and last year changed over to a Super Tigre 25 CC motor. I can take up two jumpers with out any problems. My Senior Telemast is the ARF version. It is much heavier than the built up one.

Lost my 29 year old friend last Sunday -- Wing folded about 500 feet up, knocked off the tail and buried itself engine deep in the ground. The jumper was released in time and he lived! Excellent drop actually!
