Hi all,
My brother got the Pigeon 450 SE from BananaHobby.com which most parts are compatible with Align Trex parts....and while installing his parts after it crashed. He accidently broke the main drive belt. We went to 3 local hobby shops, and none of them has the right size of the belt. Bought the belt for Trex XL/SE..but didn't fit, it's still short. Anyones know where to get this part? They have other models that looks same w/ the Pigeon, called Vulcan 450 SE, and Dragonus SA Pro. We found the belt for the Dragonus from Helidirect.com..but not quite sure if it would fit.
Any body out there has the same problem? Thanks all.

The Pigeon 450 has the same dimensions as the Copter X.. TREX parts should fit it without problems.. even the belt...

Hi soneebee,
MOst of the part is same w/ Trex, but the belt. The drive belt on the Pigeon set up little different then the Trex, we bought the Trex belt and can't fit in. Way too short. So far, I found Vulcan, Dragonus, and Robo..is the same bird...w/ different name, but none of these that the hobby store would recognized.
Thanks.

Yap, that what my brother has. We tried 3 local hobby store..for the Trex belt...and all it said on the package of the belt is Trex SE/XL ....and that the one didn't fit. Looked online everywhere, can't find the one that said just for only Trex SE. Example: http://www.align.com.tw/shop/index.php?cPath=22_72_79&sort=2a&page=3
This one is form the align.com website..and under part for Trex 450 SE ...the belt still said XL ...part number: HT1003. If you had found the longer belt anywhere, I'd appreciated that you'd give me the information, like part number,..or where to get it. Thanks soneebee.

There are many types of trex. Your link shows belt p/n HT1003 for the XL. Look at parts for the X and you will find p/n HS1038 check it out http://www.align.com.tw/shop/index.php?cPath=22_72_75&sort=2a&page=2. Im not sure which is longer but they are different numbers

The XL and SE has the same belt length.. on my XL(CDE) it just has the same belt as the SE.. I am not sure what kind of heli you got.. but the one I had never had problems with the belt. both the copter X and Align SE belt fits correctly

We had returned the belt, otherwise I can look at the part number to see what it says. On the X model..it does have differnt part number. The one we bought is for SE/XL ....So, as I understanding right, the one I should look for has this number HT1003 ...correct? I'll have to go back to the store and check it out again. Pretty sure they don't have the right one. We even brought our heli there, and they looked, and sigh!

I also live in King county nikki06 and I am curious which LHS you went to. I was going to one in southcenter but quit giving them my money because they had an issue with good customer service. The LHS I now use is in Covington and they are very good guys to deal with. If you need more info.....let me know.

OK? WHAT THE HECK?!?!? I JUST BOUGHT A PIGEON 450 M1 FROM HOBYTOWNUSA. THE GUY SAID IT WOULD HAVE EASY TO OBTAIN REPLACEMENT PARTS AND THAT EVERYTHING IN THE MANUAL WOULD BE EASILY UNDERSTOOD. THE MANUAL WAS PUT INTO AN ELECTRONIC TRANSLATOR FROM SOME CHINESE OR ARABIC AND NOT EVEN PROOFREAD SO IT DOESNT MAKE SENSE. AS FOR THE REST, THE MANUAL DOESNT EVEN TELL YOU WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW. IT DOESNT SAY ANYTHING ABOUT WHERE TO PUT THE BATTERY, WHICH I FOUND OUT AFTER A WHILE, BUT THE BATTERY JUST SLIPS OFF EVEN WITH THE VELCRO ATTATCHED TO IT AND FASTENED AS TIGHT AS IT WILL GO. THERE IS 2 SLOTS FOR THE VELCRO TO GO BUT YOU HAVE TO TAKE OFF THIS VELVET STUFF WHICH HAS NO USE EXCEPT TO HELP THE BATTERY SLIDE OFF. I HAVE NO IDEA WHO IT IS EVEN FREAKING MADE BY. THE MANUAL SAYS NOTHING ABOUT THAT. I CALLED MY HOBBY SHOP AND ASKED AND THAY SAID IT MIGHT BE HAPPYTIME HOBBY SO I WENT TO THEIR WEBSITE AND THE ONLY THING IT SHOWED ME WAS THEIR SALES PITCH! I GOOGLED IT AND CHECKED ABOUT 15 WEBSITES. THERE WERE LINKS TO THE PIGEON 450 M1 PAGE BUT THAY LED TO A BLANK PAGE. THE ONE SITE WITH WHAT LOOKED LIKE A LOT OF USEFUL INFORMATION WAS AVAILABLE IN 7 LANGUAGES, NONE OF THEM ENGLISH. I HAVE NO IDEA HOW THE REMOTE WORKS, THE INSTRUCTIONS DONT MAKE SENSE AND I AM REALLY STARTING TO GET ANNOYED THAT I JUST PAID $429 FOR A HELICOPTER WITH A MANUAL IN CHINESE. DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS ON WHERE TO GET HELP FOR THIS?
