man the z ran flawless for me today. it was starting on the 1st flip. i started off with 6000 RPM on a 20x 10 bambula by the end of the day if was up to 6300. i am not sure how much more stronger the motor will get seeing how the planes weighs in @ 12.5 lbs its enough to provide unlimeted verticle and easy pull out of a hover......

Hi Folks

I have been reading these last sections, and I confess I find them really interesting. I wish that more could be like this one - I am learning!

I would just like to say that you are doing an excellent job and the Funtanna Pro does look slightly better in proportion than it predecessor. The airofoiled tail looks great.

Probuild UK - has the current Funtanna in stock, and will be placing orders for the PRO version upon request.

Keep it up Guys!

Best Regards

Biggles

Phil said that he is going to pick some Funtana pros up from germany when he has the time i think. Weve been waiting for ages, but i remind myself that good things come to those who wait!
I am itching to get one.
there is a katana model for aerofly pro downloadable from the web that i will be able to setup exactly the same for loads of practice.
happy flying
Luke

No, it is not in the box.
He laminated the engine box with carbon fabric and epoxy.

Hi Luke

Sure, I know that it will probably co-inside with a visit to collect the latest batch of models from F3A Lorenz - since they are both based in Germany.

Waiting is always worth it!
The new Hangar 9 Funtanna 40 is pretty cute eh? A friend has one on order!

Best Regards

Biggles

Hi Robert - o

me get a Funtanna? It is on my shopping list of the not so distant future. Currently thinking about the PL Prod Lazulite first.
Saw Wolfgang and PL fly theirs @ Romilly and both myself and Phil were very impressed so much that we ordered 12, 6 of which are sold - mostly built for customers. Then there will be Lazulite140 3D due soon which I am really looking forward to seeing.

May get a Funtanna 40 , just for a laugh - who knows?

Funtanna - will be soon, I would love Silvestris TOC Kattana - that flies beautiflly.

Funtanna Regards

Biggles

Use the translator at http://babelfish.altavista.com/translate.dyn

It won't translate text in a graphic image, but it does pretty good on actual text on a web page.

Does anyone know if the wings from the Funtana original fit the Funtana Pro fuselage?

Is the Funtana Pro cowl the same as the original Funtana cowl? THere is no obvious place where cooling holes should be cut and I'm aginizing over where and what shape to make them.

I'm pretty sure it's the same cowl. Look at some pictures and find a shape you like and get cutting !

747, how is your Funtana? Pics, etc....I am very interested in the Funtana pro, and am looking for as much info as possible. Did anyone fly theirs yet? How long did it take to build, etc.....
And Luke, did Probuild get them in in the end? I'll be on to Phil tommorow to get some stuff sorted out.
Happy flying!
Robert.

Hi Robert,

I've gotten a little side tracked lately but have the fuse and vertical stab almost ready to cover. The plan is to have it flying by the end of August ( yah , right !) So far the building has been quite straight forward despite effectively having no instructions. I'm starting to think that Lipolys might be in our future. This thing's going to go very well with electric power !
