I guess Scott did away with the 25cc and now has this new 26cc gasser that has some impressive numbers. Getting 9600 rpm with a 16X8 prop is really nice. Is this using an Echo block? Anyone have one of these little gassers on a plane that can comment on the engine?

cosmospho,
What plane are you putting it in? I had the original 25cc GT and also the 26cc SPE. I had them in the CMP Giles 202 140. This new 26-SSR is running at a lot higher rpm than the others and sounds like a nice engine and Scott has rated it at over 3 hp.

I have ordered mine as well. I am going to put an ES Composite pipe on mine which should raise the RPM and lower the posted weight of 45-oz; I am not sure what the standalone weight is of the stock muffler but the ES Composite pipe is only 2.8-oz.

Be patient with Scott. I ordered an engine from Brillelli a few months ago and it took about five weeks for me to get the engine. Feel free to send Scott an e-mail or call him for a status update. Takes a little longer than expected because he is basically a man shop, but you will be more than satisfied with the engine.

I have a 40cc and Scott has been nothing but GREAT working with me to get into the air. If all the engine mfg's were as cordial as Scott our engine problems would be solved and the users would be smiling. Give him time and you will not be disappointed.

I'd like to hear some numbers as well. I got notice that mine has shipped but it will be a while before I can test it...It is going into a prototype plane for Ohio-Model-Products and I am still in the building stage. Follow thread: [link=http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_6442213/tm.htm]OMP Giant Fusion[/link]
I've have the ES Composite pipe for mine and will probably have a Karl Mueller header built for it since the installation may take some custom work. I will also be trying one of the RCats ignition cut-off switches instead of the optical Smart-Fly that I have been using. This RCats 100X is a real small and neat switch; hope it works!
David
P.S. I think I'll try a XOAR 18x6 first.

I've run 2 tanks of fuel through mine and it seems very strong and responsive....the engine fired right up and adjusting the needles was easy. Just waiting for the time/weather to fly it. [8D]

Any RPM numbers? 18x6, 18x8, 17x10 would be interesting.
I hope that they make rear carb some day.

I would contact Scott at Brillelli.......according to him the posted specs on the website are actually on the low side. He explained it all to me when I purchased my 26. Give him a call and I think you will be pleased by what you hear................[8D]

The numbers on the site say Mejzlik 16x8 at 9600.. that was the first tank. Means a 18x6 somwhere around 8500-8600 on a standard muffler.
I was hoping finish my plane and fly it this weekend but I don't think I can get a prop here quick enough
Here are some pics I just took for you.
