First off want to say,I personelly like are neighbor's to the north.Don't think because of my feelings toward a company that is in Canada, that I'm insulting your country.Got to say that I have got to meet a lot of people from Canada over the years and so far have not really talked with any that I didn't like.(I know you all can't be good guys).I like to listen to Canadian's talk actually.
My biggest complaint with Mato is,and always has been(shipping costs & and getting something across the border). Is customs delays Mato's fault,I would guess not.I think this applys in both directions,no matter who the shipper is.Is there an allturnative way for small items to be shipped cheaper and faster, yes I believe there is and have stated that in past replys.I don't think anyone here in the U.S.
will say Mato shipping to us here is cheap, weither Canada post or UPS.I can't talk about rates in Canada because I don't know, never been across the border.
Don't know of anything I've said about Mato that is not factual,if so point it out and I will sure point out that I did make an incorrect
statment. Please read anything I write just as written, don't add or subtract anything.I'm a simple person having trouble enough with my grammer and spelling,no hidden meanings just try to tell it like it is.A few on here have come to the opinion that I'm pushing Radintec on to our members.(Radintec means no more to me than any other company,I quote there prices because they have been the cheapest I have found so far.)==But did just buy two tanks cheaper, but inquiring if this was a one time deal or if those prices will be a continued price offered. If they are I'll post them and the source for the benifit of others also.Hope this helps any miss-understanding there may have been. REGUARDS BIGMIG

Now I wonder if you may be able to answer One OR TWO SIMPLE questions for me.What is it about me that for some unknown reason you seem to get some kind of thrill out of trying to belittle or slander me.

It's funny how other people can call you out but you respond to me. Oh well, honestly BIGMIG, if you recall, we parted ways about 6 mos ago when I flamed you for having two consecutive posts going on, wait a minute, you guessed it, Mato. Remember

Jay612,

I saw one post where you said you'd placed several orders and never received your freebies and another where you said you placed an order and didn't receive anything. This was during the Canadian Ports Strike right? So if I understand this correctly, you're upset about not getting freebie parts in the first instance. In the second you ordered, were charged and the item never shipped? Mato didn't give you a tracking number? Is this correct and everything or is there more?

My last and final reply to anything you have to say.Do you ever read anything you write on these posts,Can you read.Do you ever read the big paragraph at the top of the reply colum. You came in this thread just looking to pick a fight. For someone who don't like the topic, would make any reasonable person ask "what and why do you keep going in it for and complaining"I can't figure that out.
But most of all,I'm not about to let you publicly slander me.A lot is said in fun on here, none of anything you have said is funny.Especially to me.This is the second time with the PCYCHO bit.The reason I PM you was to keep this off the forum and to inform you this has got to stop.(this is not for my sake but for the sake of the forum in general)This was not good enough for you,you want a public display for what ever reason I don't know.Like I said I have tried to steer clear of you on the forum. Now its going to remain a little hard for me to partake in any future disscussions, whitout wondering what affect this will have on anyone who may have wanted to reply to me.I stated before when you pulled virtually the same thing,If I was the Moderator or power to be I would kick your smart ass right off these forums,But thats not up to me.But I think at this point I think something is going to be done,And I hope it don't affect subjects that are being posted on the RCU forums. Sorry RCU--------BIGMIG

Ok...

BigMig:

You neatly avoided mentioning this phantom Canadian company's name... we have no reason to believe it even exists.

You claim there is a cheaper way to get stuff across the border. Its called smuggling, and its ILLEGAL. You have a few legal options: hand-carry it & claim it at the border crossing, mail it or use a courier (as many do) or order it direct off the wholesaler (if you can)

Comparing the other retailers to Mato on just raw prices and shipping is not fair:
- Prices: none send a better battery, metal gearboxes, or freebies. DEDUCT the price of the better battery & gearbox from Mato's price, and see what you get.
- Shipping: RaidenTech is almost next door to you, and Mto is almost the other side of the country. A fair comparison would be someone from Quebec show THEIR ship costs from RaidenTech (and other US sources) and Mato, and then take the median. Or use a location thats halfway between the two stores... on BOTH sides of the border. nd when cross-border shopping, and NOT using a courier, EXPECT delays, its called CUSTOMS.

Whats a good deal for you is NOT a good deal for ALL of us. Be Fair, Be Honest, Be Real.

PS: there is a little-known item called 'Block'. Look down the lower left of Perry S's posts. See that little red hand between Addr. & Gallery? Thats Block: you'll never get a PM from him or see another post from him again. If you truely wish to do what you say, try using it.

jay612: They burned you on all your tanks? And you kept buying from them? Anyone else see this as VERY odd? And Tamiya Gearboxes don't need work? Unfair business practices? Don't just claim it, please explain your accusation.

pcomm:

I gotta agree, the more I see the complaining (and the thread length) if I were a potential buyer and read this thread, the more I'd see reasons to research the companies, and probably end up buying from Mato.

Congrats guys on the Pro-Mato advertising campaign!
