It can be mind boggling to say the least. I just sort of made up my mind and I think I made a good decision. If not, I don't know because I am doing great with my heli. Just make a priority list and compare the ones you are interested in against it, read the forums and go from there.

If you are choosing between the Falcon 3d and the Black Hawk get the Black Hawk much better bird. Bigger (makes it more stable ) and doesnt have the z bend cheapy linkages like the Falcon (makes a big differance in control).

I've been flying these for a year now and they work great and are 1/2 or less the price of the "Name" brands

I bought two RTF Helis from Mike at KA-Planes My Falcon 3D and My Black Hawk 450SE. Booth Had no problems. I got another RTF Heli last week Hurricane 550 from another vendor and I still havent gotten all the problems fixed bad assembley broken parts. and this was a "Tested" Heli? Well thats a lesson learned When I open the package on a Heli i buy from KA-Planes I know mike has tested it.

Hi Srouth and EA...have either of you tried this "house" brand
battery form HobbyCity that comes with the Dean's?...seems to get
good reviews and be reasonably similar to the HXT battery
...cheers, John H.

I'm still flying with the ELE Diamond I bought a couple of months ago but I have flown at least every other day since mid-Sept and I am still in the basics but I am having a great time.
Take care

Re: Mystery Small Brass Spacer--Where Does It Go?

Was removing blades from the BH and a small brass
spacer (don't think it's a bearing) fell out from, it seems to me,
the vicinity of the blade grips...have removed and attached blades
several times and never seen it before...have looked around blade
grips area (above and below) and fly bar and can't seem to see
where it goes...any ideas?.....thanks, John H.
