humm, if you dab a little CA with a dab stick, that should hold it and not so much glue that it cant be easily removed with a little force or heat if you ever want to. i like glue as a project aide so other opinions couldn't hurt, but that is what i would do.

glad you had a great flight! it,s taken me 6 weeks of playing and wrecking to get it rite. now with using a sim and flying the heck out of a HBFP im getting the hang of the BH. I had 2 great flights and landings without issue and i was hovering in control for the first time. i built up the heli and tweaked and tuned waiting for today to try it out.

jmhh with the plastic tight on the brass slider the bearings should not move around. the plastic should not be overtight and not looses either.

congratulation on your purchase, you will like this helicopter. the electronics can handle a 2200m battery and it fit in the opening sideways. i usually use a 2100 but prefer 2200. check blade balance and check head and tail screws every or every couple of flights for good maint. have fun!

She won't see too much air time for a while but I will definately keep up on maint. I hope it dosen't take too long to ship it's only got to go to the opposite corner of the united states, lol. Im going to start doing the radds flight school. Does that battery give it longer flight times?

it comes with a 2200. they will last well. while learning keep it to 5 or 6 minutes, later when running the blades faster 8, 9 maybe 10. do not over discharge lipo batteries.

Gosh the suspense is killing me, would it be bad to strap it down so it cant take off and rev it up some and move it through the controls to see how they react? Im totally new to this and im not wanting it in the air yet. I just want to see evry thing working.

I got my Bell 222 fuselage kit and a new Futaba 2.4 ghz receiver. I swapped out the stock W fly transmitter / receiver so now I can use my Futaba 2.4 ghz setup. It went surprisingly well. I had the elevator reversed but was able to get it straightened out in short order. I got a full battery in with the new transmitter and receiver and everything is working well. Which means its time to strip it all down and start fitting the new fuselage.
I’ll be postng details on the scale thread if anyone wants to follow the build. After stripping the down and giving it a quick test fit I can see I’m going to have a few snags to work out, the boom is about an inch to short and the top of the frame is a tight fit. This should make for a good winter project!

you can remove channel 3 from the rx and plug in a battery diretly to the recevier and the blades wont move at all

you can use the hold toggle switch by pulling it towards you to again lock the throttle and see the ail and ele and pitch servos work

nice fusle ea01bg

Wow the pictures don't do it justice. Got my BH 450se today what a sweet lookin little heli. I don't know any thing about thees batteries other than they seem dangerous and it didn't come with any charging instructions, also it has two chargers and two plugs on the battery are you supposed to use both at the same time or do they charge at different rates? What other things other than checking the screws should I look for I got it from Mike at ka_planes so it should be good to go? Thanks for your help.
