Don't worry man, i got rid of the radio, and going to use my eflite 400 3d cp radio which is a spectrum D6i. My blade 400 is in the shop getting it fixxed and
stuff. It was to sensitive and changed the expo well anyways that didn't work. I left it there couple days ago. Today I received a spectrum receiver
from ka planes as a replacement instead of me using their radio. So9 I just got back from hobby store, i left my nitro heli there for them to tweak it
out and program that radio from 400 3d. I basically have no time and I just don't want to crash my nitro heli just because of a noob experience.
Beside other night my voltage of my battery went down on my bh400 and I crashed it to a condo. LOL And blade 4003d is under warranty so I took
that one down to hobby store beside to responsive and it doesn't fly the same as like the first flight. So all my heli is down. Two of my new heli
Eflite 400 3d is in for repair and my black hawk 500 pro gp. Also I am thinking about adding an os 18. But first i'm going to see how much they
going to charge me and well i'm getting my license back soon and getting insurance on my car and tags, its going to be a arm and a leg.
So Hopefully I'm going back to my nitro planes. Haven't messed with them for couple years because I had no license. So alot of money
I will be spending these couple days. Last week I paid almost 4 tousand dollar on tickets. Well guys, I do wanna say ka planes
the whole support and sales people are great people. Like i said couple weeks ago, my heli radio is going wacko, well they sent me a
spectrum receiver and a return label for me to send the radio and receiver. I still have a smile and not pissed at them. And I am very
pleased of my bh 450 on stock. I don't know what to say. I totally hate eflite 400 3d. I pick on bh 450 because of quality of the bird.
Eflite, the good about eflite 400 is the radio and well having an extra bird don't hurt. But that bird is not to great, maybe for 3d flyer.
When I improve I am just going to be more of a sport flyer, doing flips, loops, and rolls and inverted. Nothing fancy as 3d flying.
Have fun guys.

I"LL BE BACK <- LOL arnold

Mill, Ron is right! Finless gives you everything and more! I highly recommend the Trex 450 build on CCPM set up vidoes...excelent info and even though it is not the same model the basics are the same and you will learn a ton or at least I did!
The winds here are suppose to be down some today and it looks like the weekend is going to be very nice...I can hardly wait to fly outside again! Hovering around the rec room is fun but nothing like being out side!
Jim, sorry to hear all your helis are down...hope the LHS is good to you and gets you back in the air again quick!

No problem, I can wait a few days or a week. Black hawk 450 is for me to fix LOL. I just cant wait to get back my 500 gp and use it on sundays. I'm pretty soon
going back to the club and go real flying with my model airplanes and my nitro heli. My nitro heli is only so I can fly at the club I guess. Here is a bit to small
at my street. Blade 400 3d I hardly care about that one, to hard to fly but hope they made it nice and easy as bh 450. But in the future I might go with
metal head and tail. And probably a better gyro. I have plans but haven't done that yet. LOL Has anybody tried align brushless motor on bh as a replacement
from the blue head brushless motor?

From talking to another Heli guy at the LHS...he said the Align motors were ok but the Scorpion motors were really the ones with the power...so if I ever upgrade I will probably go with them

ed. i also had a talk with a guy at my LHS. i asked him about the scorpion motor he had. while the scorpion has great power it comes with a price. that price is flight time. he told me that i can probably get only 5 minutes of flight time max. so if you're planning to do some hardcore 3d and flying then get the scorpion but if you want to just sport fly and the like its probably better to stay with stock motor. i believe the one he has is 55 bucks. looks fantastic. since i'm not going to do hardcore 3d just yet i'm sticking with the stock motor until my flying skill dramatically improve. perhaps upgrading the esc first is the best way to go at this point.

what is the advantage of the bell-hiller head?

The Bell-Hiller is very direct response. Stick input=heli reponse, no waiting on the flybar to move the blades, it is a mix of swash movement and flybar movement to the blades, so as the swash moves so does the flybar and the blades...it made my Axe CP much easier to fly....I find the BH450 though very easy and very responsive as it is with the Trex style rotor head set up.

Noob...that is what the guy I talked to said as well...I am not planning any upgrades at this point any way...but from what I have read, most of the high torque motors eliminates your flying time so why not go with the best?!?. I am very happy with the stock motor. I only worry a little because when hovering inside, the motor, ESC and battery get very warm...but this is not the case when I am flying outside, they all get a little warm but not enough to worry me.

The scorpion motors are great. As far as flight times go on the scorpion motors it depends on which one you get. The #6 is the most powerful one/ less flight time. I have the -8 and I have good power and decent flight times. I get about 6min of sport flying. The motors is slightly more powerful than the 430xl motors. Im also running a 13t pinion too.

yes bigairhonda that's exactly what the guy said to me as well. the #6 eats battery like crazy. the #8 is a better with battery while its very good in power as well.

ed. i plan on buying the #8 scorpion anyway and have it ready for install when that day comes.
also let me know of your esc choice you make.
