I finally got to fly the BH today. There was little,to NO wind this am. First thing I found was it was wanting to go into FF (this is from being trimmed to hover in 10-15mph head winds). I used the sub trims and got it hovering well, then went up to about 25ft,and went into forward flight. It still was accelrating, and I went to center stick. Then it went into a "nose high" attitude and started to try to go backwards. I landed and added some forward cyclic, and went up again. It tried to go backwards again, but not as bad,so I landed and added some more trim. This time when I would go into FF and let the stick go to center,it would just slow down,in a level attitude( coast,or glide) and stop after around 30feet! I landed and changed out the battery, and went up again. It flew GREAT! When I got going a little too fast,I would just let up on the stick pressure, and it would slow down,AND stay level. No square dancing back and forth! I came in to land and found that I have to hold a "little back stick" (not much) to hover. This is the way I thought it should fly,but could never get a trim setup lined out. I flew a few circuts around the ball field and they were "relaxing" I could speed up or slow down, and the heli didn't do any pitching at all. The advice I got was spot on ( I wish I had had it sooner). He said it is NO diffrent than a plane. You can take a 3-D plane and set it up to hover, but that setting won't be worth beans for forward flight,so you have to make a compromise some where. Get it setup to fly well in FF and hold the "sticks" where you have to,in hovering. Since you will spend alot less time hovering, than you will in FF after you learn the basics. Also I found that the right "trim" on the ailerons for hovering, wasn't the right trim for forward flight. It tended to go a little left in FF,so I adjusted it,and now it tracks like an arrow. The heli is so much smoother now, that it dosen't even feel like the same heli. Ron
