I've got two heads. one from a hawk pro (stock) and one from a hawk sport (upgraded to the 6mm feathering shaft).

as posted in another post I can't get the blade grip off the 6mm shaft but lets ignore that since I've got it in another post.

So here are my two questions.

1. I purchased dampeners for my hawk (part # HI3181A) and would ideally like to use them on my 6mm shaft with the thrust bearings. Since I can't get that apart I've installed them on the stock Hawk pro setup and will just use them there for a while. Will they also work with the 6mm shaft or do I need to order different ones. I've looked at the Raven and sure enough it has the 6mm feathering shaft but the dampeners they call out as upgrades are the exact same as those for hawk. I was hoping they'd have a set for the 6mm shaft.

2. when I tighten the lock nuts on my stock feathering shaft (hardened dampeners installed now) should I bottom out the nuts? When I do so the grips don't move freely. They arn't bad to move but definitely not near as smooth as when I loosen up the locknuts just a tiny bit. I'm scared cause this is such a critical system that I wanted to have everything tight.

Any help is definitely appreciated.
