I'd convert it to CNC but Butch has enough to complain about now.

Status: offline 		I didn't realize there was no size reference in the other shots, maybe you can get a better feel for the size from this shot. The wheel is 5.75 inches.
It's gonna be a brute!

Status: offline 		Awesome dude. What'd you start off with a 3 deep chunk by 5 inches by something? That's a big chunk of aluminum. The rotation pin looks a little Micky Mouse, could be the angle.

Status: offline 		Ha that's about right Sean -- start with a big block of aluminum and cut away everything that doesn't look like a 105 retract.
The rotation pins are 3/16 steel in bronze bushings. I think it will be adequate but there's only one way to find out!

Status: offline 		Got the cylinder mounted and working. I have a couple of options on the steering but it will take some trial and error.
It works with just 20 psi on the mockup; I wonder why it will take 110 psi when it's installed in the jet.
Notice I have more than 90 degrees available, probably up to 110 degrees or so. Nice to have that if you need it.

Status: offline 		The mockup is done! The steering setup was copied from Lynn McCauley's B-58 gear - I'm sure there is another way to make it work but this one is proven.
