Will these fit the CX or only the CX2? Someone said they will fit the Lama V4, is that true?

Thanx

Should? Are they the same body/frame? I have th eCX and my son has the Lama V4, was hoping it would fit one of them. Thought I read somewhere someone fitting the extreme to the V4, but not sure. Thanks for the help.

Actually the CX1 and CX2 have a different main frame and body support. If you look in the picture you can see that the body support bracket is completely different on the CX2. However the Xtreme kit will still work with it.

The lama V4 frame is different from the CX1 and CX2; however the Xtreme kit has enough flex in it that you can make it work with a V4. I had to drill out the mounting holes to the main frame just a little. It is not as solid as a mount as the CX2 but with some creativity that can be fixed. Also the battery tray on the V4 is also different than the CX. The V4 uses the same size battery as the V3 which is shorter than a CX1 and CX2 battery. But the Xtreme kit uses parts of the battery tray and guess what... You can make the CX/2 Xtreme skid kit work on a V4. It is not a direct fit but it is a very good fit once you get everything to slide or push into place. I say push becuase it does take some force to get it all together.

I will take some pics.

Here is my V4 with a CX/2 Xtreme body, skids and boom kit. I removed the fake tail spinner and I added a set of Xtreme carbon fiber fins. By adding the carbon fins and taking off the fake spinner it saves 3 grams which puts the V4 back pretty close to the stock weight.
