djmeeg, balancing your heli is a good idea. Always try to keep the weight at a minimum. If you can slide the battery further forward to balance it, then that is always the best idea. If you then have to add weight to the heli to balance it, it's OK. Just don't add too much weight and always try to balance the heli by moving "stuff" around first. ( The battery being the heaviest piece of "stuff".)lol

Check out my gallery. With the smaller battery I balance perfectly at the upper battery tray. With 180g battery, the CG is even better inside the heli compartent.

That bracket is not bad for 3D flight. It should make the heli roll faster and tighter since the weight is now closer to the head. Don't know about that batttery though, man its big! That thing look bigger than a Trex battery!

Yes, I seen it. Have you seen a Hornet X-3D video! The battery is dead on the front of the heli. I know its smaller and lighter, but it pulls off some really good 3D moves. Search them down on the net. They're really cool helis.

Dude, Rob, thats hardcore.

You put a 144$ Gyro on a 129$ heli.

Now I am thinking about buying another one, thanks for nothing man.

Well about the gyro .... It was a hard decision to make. I was going to buy a telebee but then I thought I can use it for TREX later. But now thinking about it. If I have a TREX then I wouldn't want to keep pulling components out of my king.

Actually google some more and you'll find the latest vids of a S9257 with the GY401 & 2100 gyro. Same guys showing how to setup the Logitech, strapped the S9257 and got delayed response. He switched back to the GY401 with this new servo from Futaba, and now seems to be second thinking that Logitech at least from what I found. I guess the Logitech needs some serious tuning to setup as guys are stating. There some more data I'm reading as this is very recent tests.

2100 does not have remote gain adjust, right ? This feature is really important to me.

I believe it does. In the DX7, you adjust the gain percentage in gear 1 for HH and gear 2 for rate mode. This can be very tricky to setup it seems.

And you said I have expensive electronics, your DX7 cost more than a mini titan.
