Hello guys,
Good luck too Jerz... bring home the bacon.. hehehe GB: can u post pick of your Inferno/GO engine setup? I need to see the throttle and Break linkage. I'm still using the stock throttle and break linkage of the inferno. I'm hearing teethering sound from the Futaba throttle Servo that i have, and i can't seem to get the linkage/Servo horn to center in the Servo. Hope you could help.

Hey there,
Quick question. My 'other' or first car is my bashing car, a XTM Terminator XT2. Strangely, took it to the track the other day and after i got her fired up and was putting the cover back on I noticed IT DON'T FIT NO MORE!?!? When ligned up with the front cotter pin post, the rear posts are off by about half a centimeter (towards the front). I haven't crashed it hard and when I changed out the diff oils I know I put everything back right, because the shell fit nice perfectly. The ONLY thing I can think of is that I've somehow bent the rear shock tower forward a bit somehow, or really bent the body frame. It can't be the front shock tower cause the front post and suspension match up perfectly with the gaps cut out of the shell. Any thoughts? Thanks

Yo GB, I'm waiting for your pic of the Throttle and Brake Linkage.. hope you havent forgotten my request. Or for anyone who has/can take a pic of their inferno's Throttle and Brake Linkage.
I'm joining my first race and quite a bit excited about it. It's not a common race, it's a race format which is car/kit can outlast other kits. sponsors also have a drink all you can beers.. wohooooo.... actually im not interested in the race, just the free beers... hehehehe

jnc011994 - Sorry I forgot over the weekend. However I haven't changed anything with the linkage at all, it is 100% stock. To tell you the truth it is the one part of the car I don't like, I think those brake linkages could be much better. I am working interstate during the week, but I will endevour to take some pics of my linkage setup this weekend. Apologies for forgetting.

busta774 - I agree with your comparison with the Hyper. I had the same problem with the front C hubs too, the thread in the hub was damaged and those hubs are a known weak point on the Inferno. I swapped mine out for the King Headz CNC ones and problem solved. I found the standard ones in OZ cost the same as the King Headz ones from the US.

G'day GB. That was funny about the truck v ferarri meeting head on mate...guess you're right. I do like that MP7.5. It's just very frustrating when the local distributer here doesn't stock the spares for the models they sell. They've been "expecting" a shipment of parts for the past 7 months!! They don't even have DIFF oils in stock. Then when i see a decent car on the market and also see a shop full of their spare parts, it makes me think about ease of operating the vehicle. No matter which model we run, they break. That's half the fun of this sport in my opinion. I'm able to fix it myself. But NOT if the local supplier isn't carrying the spares. I know i can buy it off the net, but hey....i want to be spending my time driving the cars, not waiting 3 or 4 weeks for spares. That's the bummer out here, each dealer signs 'exclusive' contracts with the regional agents. So if one shop sells Kyosho, no other shop in the region can sell Kyosho....and if that shop doesn't carry a continuous stock of spares....well...might as well just bend over baby...cause that's how you feel after spending nearly DOUBLE the price you'd pay almost anywhere else in the world for a KIT. The other factor that winds me up is the way some shops do business here. They'll sell you the car and all the kit...but then forget about you. It's a "short-term-take-the-money-and-run-attitude" and it's getting very old to me. Doesn't make good business sense in my opinion, nor does it adhere itself to customer or brand loyalty. OK, nuff winging and ranting.
Couple of pics....ouch on the engine, the VERY sandy track (my envy runs green and thick when looking at some of the other pics i've seen of 'real' tracks) and finally two tired cars after a day on the track, both with popped dog bones. That really big tower in the background is actually the worlds tallest man made structer, the Burj Dubai, still under contstruction.

Oooops...here are the pics of the very sandy, dusty, desert based track we have here. BTW, that close up of the front end in my last post is what seems to be happening now almost every time i jump the MP7.5. The only thing i can think of is that i've just changed the preload on the shocks. Could this be causing the front arms to be moving too much, allowing the dog bones to pop almost every time? Thanks for your thoughts....still a bit of a newbie to this brilliant sport.
