Finnished breaking in the engine .

After 6-8 tanks i started to lean the HSN and each tank i hade to close the HSN about 1/4-1/2 to raise the temp above 50 cel (120F).
After a 1/2-3/4 galon i have set the temp on about 100c(210F) but can run a lot leaner and stronger.

But now i have a problem .

I can't get the power to transfer to the track.
When i exit corners i must apply throttle very cerfully or i spin out.
My track is asphalt the engine is stock GXR28 and i use slick tyres () i have installe front and rear sway bars.
My diff are in stock condition with the stock grease in them.

Cleaning the grease and filling with silicone oil can help ?
What oil should i fill front/mid/rear ?

Im an offroad racer, so I cant help you. The Inferno GT, which is a great onroad car is a converted Inferno Offroad buggy. Download the GT manual and compare parrts. You should find everyting you were asking about there. As far as 1vs 2 speed transmission, does the track you race on have long straightaways? Youll need to speed for that. The rest you should be able to get from the manual. Good luck. Sorry I cant help you more.

Hello Guys,

Yo GB, still waiting bro for the pics. Jerz, tough luck bro in your 1st race this year. I was going to join the race last sunday, but I have other obligation to attend anyways, there's still more race to come.

GB, would like to ask, if you've experimented on using the stock kyosho pipe in your GO Engine. I still haven't change the pipe, but it sounds great, low, mid and top range. I am planning to get the pipe, but not immediately. And you're right jerz, we could spend a ton of money on this hobby for hop-up parts. But considering the budgetary limitations, I can only change and will only change once something is broken.

Goodluck guys,
Jojo

they will prevent the body from bending .

I am planning on changing the servos to some strong and cheap towerpro and upgrading to 4 spider gears in the diffs .

That should be sufficent for tight budget.

Yup GB, looks like i bent the chassi on the XTM mate....bugger! Thanks for the suggestion.

I know it's a US thread but here's some pics of my 7.5 Kanai II. Including the stock throttle linkage. GB...that same problem i mentioned before about the dog bones popping out all the time is still occuring, even though i've brought the preload on the shocks down a bit. Any ideas to the possible cause? The other thing that occured to me is that maybe the LHS sold me the wrong dog bones and these are just a bit too short.

Tommy - Thats an odd one your dog bones popping out like that? You had to have changed something? Did you change dog bones? Any suspension parts? They pop out when at full top or full bottom? They didnt do this from day one right? Whatever you changed, you may have got the wrong part(s)? I have my suspension set up so it will go full travel. My dog bones dont come anywhere near popping out. What did you change? From your pictures, looks like you have new dog bones on?

My new Axial engine is running like a champ!!! I can hit the throttle and the torqe pulls it off the line instantly. It came with a couple venturis diameters. Can anyone tell me what they will do? Seems like if I put them in I'll get less air which means less gas meaning less top end. Can anyone comment?

Thanks

Wiz - Thats is exactly what they will do. I got some with my V-SPEC as well. They went in the trash. LOL If you want to slow it down, install them.

Wiz - I guess you can use those venturis if you need to get more mileage out of a tank?

Ya Jerz, had to replace that whole front end after meeting a Hyper 8.5 head on at almost full speed (combined). He was heading down the track in the wrong direction. I'm gonna take it apart today and see what's going on. I'll also compare the size to the old dogbone on the other side. I think it may just be that it's a half centimeter shorter or something, cause when it sits back into the diff seat, that's about how much spare room it's got. If that's the case, yet again i'll be able to fly the flag of my LHS for doing such a great job with after sales service.... Cheers....time to get to work
