I found someone that i believe can make me a metal spur gear instead of the crappy plastic ones but i got a question.I was gonna send him the clutchbell and the spur gear but do i need to make one gear out of softer material so it will strip instead of messing up my differential or should i have them both made out of the same material?Sorry if this is confusing its hard to type what i am wanting to ask.

I would think that both would have to be hardened steel. If you get one made and it works, let me know how much you want for them!

i suggest sticking with plastic, you will defianately do damage down the line with a steel spur gear, i only use plastic, they make steel for many of my trucks but i keep them plastic, its easier to replace a spur gear than diff gears
