I mean, wouldn't the variation in blade speeds would provide yaw control! Maybe to make it look like a heli!?

Stabilization in forward flight, just like a fixed wing, bottle rocket, or balistic missle.

Splat is right. It is not needed to control yaw, but it makes forward flight more stable.

On a more serious note now, the tail also is mainly for looks, these don't go fast enough to need a rudder.

Wouldn't a HH gyro keep it stable in yaw?

I think you would need 2 then because you would have to control both motors. Personally I don't think these helis are worth the expense of some thing like HH gyros.

Guess again Raz, then go to the FAA website and look up some ref docs on flight dynamics.
