Ok guys... its official! the SRT/10 has flown!!! I'll spare you the minor details and simply say, it was AWESOME!!!

The thrust angle of the motors is pushing the nose down under power, and then it wants to climb with power off, but, I just "compensated" for it in flight. I'll get it all adjusted and dialed in next time... that may be a LONG time away, but thats ok.

Mission accomplished.

I've been followin this thread for months.Finally a climax!!lol!! That was SO DAMN AWESOME . Glad to see your hard work pay off before you deploy. So many congrats to you and all that helped. My nine year old whos learning says that the SRT/10 is the by far coolest plane on the planet right now. Enjoy your victory man. stay safe and come home

You need to build a rack, release mechanisn, and take that to Afghanistan and show them predators whose boss!!! and probably at 1/500000 the cost..lol... Seriously, congrats on the flight, and stay safe over "there"!!!

I've been following this for a while too and I can't congratulate you enough on this success! One of the most impressive planes i've seen, nice work.

Andrew, I was in Afghanistan with Aussies, and Kiwis, hella nice guys too!! Oh, those Steyrs they carry look pretty wicked!! Mopar: Did you get that pitch problem worked out yet? Otherwise it looks like it flies pretty well!!!
