Hello guys,

I just got a t2 007 and a mamba max 7700, How fast would this setup be ? Looking to race some friends in a straight line. Also what batteries would be the best to run with the 7700? Do you recommend any other brushless that would make this thing the fastest period? Thanks

not sure about the speeds, but for a better BL motor, it depends on your budget. There are amazing motors out there by Neu, Plettenburg, Lehner, just to name a few which will out perform the MM7700, but some are priced might steep.

lets put it this way, my friend has the same motor in a B4 buggy using 6 cell IB 4200 and he was getting speeds of about 43 mph... now take the xray, its a touring car, its lighter and more aero i say about 45-47 mph maybe a little more.

43? Was that on a race gearing? It should hit at least 50 with a MM 7700 motor.
