Need Corel Draw help - 9/10/2007 1:48:24 PM

Status: offline 		I’ve been using Corel Draw 9 for about a year now to do our club newsletter and love it. However I’m having some difficulty right now editing a photo. What I’m trying to do is crop an image, I believe they call it creating a mask, and inserting it into another photo.

I seem to be successful in outlining the image and separating it from the rest of the photo, but when I try to paste it into the other image it appears in a white box. Now I’ve done this before with success but cannot figure out what the heck I’m doing wrong this time.

HELP!

Status: offline 		It's been a while since I've used version 9, I'm now using x3 and there have been a lot of new features since 9. I assume you have cropped the picture with an irregular mask, leaving white around the rest to make the square. Try putting a mask around the outline of the picture so that the part you want to keep is visible and the border is masked, save that then put over the other picture. I hope this helps.
