BTW, I never did get those parts for the Ultimate. I was on the Nitroplanes replacement parts thread also. NP finally just started ignoring my emails and phone support was no help.

I'll still never buy another plane from Nitroplanes.

You should PM John here about parts.

If you do not get a response within 3-4 days, repeat, lather and rinse until done.

E-mails may not get through to John.

I am surprised that you did not get a response since your initial post.

I have on several occasions since then and most people have been responded to.

Did you get any PM's?

Quick Question!

The manual that came with the ultimate shows the elevator and rudder AND throttle servos all packed under the canopy. The Servo tray in the plane however just has cutouts for the elevators and rudder. I noticed that there is still a couple places that you can mount the elevator servos under the horz. stab. (by cutting the covering away). That would probably be a better set up for me, but im concerned about the cg when that happens. Im using an OS FS-120. Would i have to glue a brick to the front of the plane to get it to balance?

Anyone else using a glow engine with dual elevator servos under the stab?

The holes are there so you can do whatever you want.

Either will work.

If you are using a heavier engine, you can use the servos in the tail to help balance out the plane.

The OS 1.20 will NOT "require" this, if anything the plane may need that you move the battery FORWARD to help balance it out.

Mine flys great with spe26, I think it is nose heavy, I'm not sure what CG should be , can someone post the number please.
I have 450cc of fuel on board, maybe I can go down 350cc to make it fly better.

I have the yellow version, and the manual say to balance 4.17 (Quote form the manual: the ideal C.G. is 106mm (4.17in) behind the leading edge measured at the top wing center line.)

I hope to have mine ready in the next couple of weeks, I am almost there!
