I have a quick question. Does Dub make an aftermarket Carb for the TT40? Like that 46FX picture on the website.
Is it larger than stock?
I'm not very comfortable boring out the stock one so i'm looking for a larger one.
I was thinking of doing some small mods..Combined with the Jett muff. and a carb might help.

The only ones really offered are those for the big ST2300 and ST3000 size engines.
Rarely any call for OS carbs..... or TT carbs. The image on the website was more of a display model.

However, Dub has indeed made the carb for those wanting it for other engines.
You would have to send the engine in to have the carb fit, and the carb low end pre-tuned.

Keep in mind, the carb costs $75
That is about the same as the entire TT40 costs .. .?

Well that's good news it could be made. I thought about the cost, but for me as long as the whole package combined makes a difference in performance it is worth it for me. For a learning experience and some fun i'll pay more then $75 [:D]

I'll drop Dub an e-mail and see if he's interested in the project?

Be sure to let us know if you do the project and how it turns out. Some minor mods really work out well. The Jett carb throat is much larger than the TT. The TT carb opening is 0.253, Jett 50, 0.375. Thats a bunch of more air into the crank which will probably restrict the additional volume, but you just never know. You could enlarge the crank opening and drill it out to size, but probably not enough meat left to be reliable. The Jett crank is large, a thing of beauty. ENJOY
