Status: offline 		go with the 1/8 scale truck. You'll break less parts than you would with 1/10 vehicles in general, plus its easier to truck round in the yard with a 1/8 scale vehicle.

Status: offline 		I'm new to this whole thing too. I just received my infinity truck and it is very impressive. It's fast and so far very durable. I've beat the crap out of it, and it keeps on trucking. I did upgrade my clutch bell to an HPI 16 tooth. That makes it a bit more tourquey, but I like that. Probably not good on a track, but all I want to do is jump the thing and do doughnuts. I was thuroughly impressed with this truck...especially for the price. GO FOR THE TRUCK!!!

Status: offline 		the engine might only be a .21, but even so... its a 1/8 scale vehicle. She'll make it through more shtuff in the yard than the 1/10 scale vehicles do.
