10/21/07:Here are some new pics:

10/10/07:i want to have a few different sets of wheels, bow ties with black wheels, badlands with yellow wheels, and road rage with white wheels, and i'm looking for 0 offset white wheels, and i was wondering what the difference between these three is:

1/8 Velocity Offset, 17mm Hex, White
1/8 Velocity Wheels, White: STR, Hellfire
1/8 Velocity Wheels, White

10/5/07: i deleted the pictures in this post so that it doesn't take an hour to scroll down.

9/22/07:i got Boca's M427 HP bearing kit which is the best they offer, and it's really cool, the balls are black, they're sillicone nitride ceramics, and the retainers are polymite so they can be snapped off and the bearing dissasembled. I put the crankcase in the oven at 400 degrees for about 20 minutes and the bearings went in real easy. it's all put together but i'm soaking the Nova RC head in fuel to try to get corrosion off.

9/15/07:i'll be closer to finished completing this truck when i sell all my stuff on ebay. Check this page to see how far i am
I did all the tires and they're pretty good except some have spots where the tire is lifted up like 1mm off the rim, and the first tire i did has some white spots.

9/14/07: I've done 2 tires so far, and my thumbs hurt like crazy. i'll probobly finish tonight, i kinda figured out good ways to do it.

k i'm not getting any responses so i guess i got it all covered or else you guys are all sleeping or eating dinner, i'm gonna glue one of them, then if that goes well, i'll do them all. then i'll post some more pics

I'm now gluing these wheels. if you have any suggestions besides scuffing/cleaning the surfaces of the gluing area, then speak now!

i'm taking the shine off of the tires, and i'm scuffing the rims

9/13/07: I just got some wheels and tires for my muggy, i bought what 2D suggested, 0 offset, and Bow Tie MTR.

the lines on the tires are from the camera flash.

NOTHING is glued so if you have tips on gluing tell me.

I would use Muggy shocks for racing.

I would clean the rims before gluing and if maybe even scuff the gluing surface with a dremel. I have noticed some brands of wheels come clean enough to glue without doing this.

i've got the muggy shocks on, the TiNi shafts might make them look like lst2 shocks, and they're a little too long, but i think i'll keep them anyway, maybe i'll put 1/10 scale pistons under them to limit travel. i thought it might be good to scuff the tire/wheel surfaces a little, and i have a dremel tool too.

do you think the offset is right?

will it all be race legal? are JP3's ROAR legal?

I would say prepare for breaking shock shafts, man that must bottom hard!! Travel limiters are for down travel.

Offset is perfect for Muggy with standard ride height, you will have a higher COG because of the long shock shafts.

Yes it will be legal and yes the JP3 is legal.

if i put the 1/10 scale pistons under the shafts won't that lower the COG? i think that it'll bottom out before the shafts slam into the shock cap

They just limit down travel. When you bottom out your shocks now your pistons are slammed up against the shock cap. You could add all the spacers you want underneath the piston and the same will be true.

I do wish they made TiNi shafts for the Muggy shocks.

i'm pretty sure that this won't be finished until christmas, i need a new spur gear, new shock shafts, JP3 Pipe, and DPS21 carburetor. none of the auctions on e-bay for JP3's are for good prices. they're just going to get higher as christmas season comes up, then they'll be selling 4 alot after that because of racing season, so i think the best time to buy them is like july-october

2d..do you have to flip the rear arms to run the muggy shock towers on the lst2? if so will the wing still fit, with the shocks on the tail end?
