I have read and heard MANY dfferent responses to LiPo life, some say they only last 150, and others say 1000... I would like to get a frim answer on this because it's causing many debates on some other sites... Thanks.

It all comes down to how the packs are used. Higher discharge rates all of the time = shorter life span. Lower discharge rates= longer life. Also how they are stored and charged can play a big factor. We have many of our users that are well over the 200 cycle plus mark and the packs are still going strong. High packs temps can also shorten the life if it is happening all of the time.

Jason.

Do you have a ball park average for the life span for the normal basher. I know alot depends on how they are used, same with Nimh but they provide a average lifespan.

It's to hard to in point. 200 is a good standard but 300 is probably gonna be tops for most. Again just a guess as user/conditions/set-up all come into play on the final outcome.

I'm at over 200 cycles on 3cell 3000 packs with no loss of performance also never out of balance.dont over heat an always balance and you'll have good luck.never leave battery unattended when chargeing
