As far as the servo goes I have a Hi-Tec Programmable HS-5645MG Digital Ultra Torque steering servo that has metal gears ball bearing's sealed from dust and water with like 160 oz. torque with a 6 volt reciever pack and I am still not happy. I plan on getting one with like 300 oz. of torquem to turn those honkin wheels. Oh' and that brings up the reciever pack a 6volt pack is a must which involves changing the switch to one with a charger cable, no big deal. And as far as a pipe goes I love the THS racing pipe tuned specially for the 2.5 motor, sounds great and makes wheelies on demand if your tuned right. Stick with RPM plastic instead of any alluminum parts, there lighter and lifetime guarentee! You'll probably whant some stiffer springs, I use 4 black trinity springs and keep 4 of the red stock springs. A cheap great upgrade is using a piece of servo saver spring instead of the stock fuel tubing they use for the break linkage, this feels much better and is more predictable.

No you can't, the Hi-Tec has a differant size horn on the top you need a differant servo saver to fit the Hi-Tec at least I did and I used a Hi-Tec Programmable HS-5645MG Digital Ultra Torque servo which has like 160 oz. torque with a 6 volt reciever pack! Other than that it is plug and play though.

E-bay is probably your best bet for a cheaper roll cage of ladder cage. Unless you whan't to spend $75.00 plus S&H tower hobbies has this one which is very nice "ESP Aluminum Laddercage T-Maxx" But you really don't need one unless you are really getting some serious air and haven't figured out how to control your landings. Gas=lift nose, Break=drop nose. Just don't land on the roof from like 6 foot and you don't need a ladder cage. It's really unecisary weight unless you are really beating on your truck. You can buy a lot of body mounts for $75.00.

For best performence in your 2.5 engine. Run Odonnels 30% fuel and run a MC-9 Glow plug. Hitec 645 steering is what I ran in my Tmaxx and it was more then enough power.

a definate yes on a reciver pack because i got a t-maxx 3.3 and it ate through energizers lke it was candy....so somthing rechargable would work great....i got my hump pack off e-bay for 13 bucks

and the fuel you want to run 20%-33% nitro....any brand will do i like sidewinder myself..........if you are going to be puttin arround the house i recomend 20% but if you wanna go race some buddys consider 33% but remember the higher percentage you go you cant come back down because its bad for your motor and typicly with any car brand fuel you wont really have to worry about the oil content
