I am finishing up my 40 mojo and am trying to install the tank a 8oz hayes slimline.

With the landing gear blocks its not a clean fit.

Anybody have any pics of the install?

Not a great pic here, but the tank can go over the landing gear block. Just use foam to insulate it then double up the thickness forward of the blocks to make up for the space difference.

That's the way I do it... 1/2" foam, hooks and rubber bands. Just don't use too many rubber bands or you'll solid mount the tank and cause your fuel to foam.

I mounted it ok and the thickness of the foam holds it out far enough from the gear block.

I will be debuting it tomorrow morning. I cant wait.

Do you think 90 degree throws are enough for low rates?

I also had trouble deciding where to put the tank. The distance between the LE of the wing and the prop is pretty short. It seemed the pipes would get caught by the prop. My solution was the put it in the wing (see photo). The fit was perfect. I've had about 100 flights so far and no problems.
