Out of the BigHit and Demo, which is the best bike? I know the Demo is supposed to be better, but I see a lot more people with the BigHit. The model I am looking at in particular is the BigHit III and the Demo 8 (I can get both slightly used on eBay - the BigHit is in better condition than the Demo but it is $300 more - the Demo only has some scratches on the frame).

It also has to look cool. I think the Demo looks way cooler than the BigHit, but the BigHit is not so bad.

People are switching back to the Bigt Hit mostly because its lighter then the Demo, I would go Big Hit.

Ahh, that's a nice fact to know. Do you know how much the weight difference is, and is it really noticable?

I believe the big hit is around 40-50 pounds while the demo is 50-60

Nice bikes. I haven't been really into bikes since I was a teen, but I still do have a Mongoose mountain bike. It's funny how when I was a kid Mongoose was a top level bike, but these days they're all over Walmart...LOL

My all time favorite bike was a GT Pro Performer. It was this bright red/orange with black specks on the paint. I always wanted one but the $250 it cost seemed like a zillion dollars as a kid.

Does anyone know which fork is better - the Fox 40RC or the Marzocchi 888VF? I have a choice of those two for the bike I want to get, and I was wondering which one is more durable, ahs the most features, and generally performs the best. I am leaning to the Fox at the moment, as I have had great experience with their products.
