For my mtb I've got this sick walmart full suspension bike I found in some bushes I ride the hell outta it and am wanting a new bike, but cant justify paying more for a bike than for a quad. Even the bikes I want on ebay go for over 1000. I either would like a kona stab, kona stinky, or a intense socom. The konas look nice and fit in my budget, plus my local dealer has them, so if I ever get a bike it will probably be one of those.

what you guys think pf this bike for trials. its 2500 bucks but im think about gettin that or a norco bigfoot. the first bike is an echo pure and is a little bit more (i think) and it has maguras on hte front, and id rather have a disc. the second is an echo control and is the one i like more. the third bike is the bike i ride now, a schwinn 240-dsx

haha.i cant believe those trials bikes go for that much. there only a couple tubes welded together. haha. if your good at trials, you would prolly want them. if your are just starting out, or somewhere in between, pretty much any hard tail would be fine IMO.

they also have expensive components that are many times stronger and lighter than what you would find in a wal-mart bike...(i think a pair of rims from those bikes cost a couple hundred....)

trials riding is one of the hardest forms of mountain biking....wish i could do stuff like that....

dont get me wrong, ik they are built out of very lightweight material. its just funny though to see a bike look like that cost sooo much.

the bike i want to build this winter is gunna be the gaint faith 2. im hoping to race next year as well (just need to convince my parents, ha). im still not sure tho just because me being 15, im gunna need a car soon, lol. until then, i have my mind set on this/a DH bike.

haha. you dont know what trials is then im guessing?? you dont need, or want seats, for trials. you want the COG as low as possible, as well as weight. heres a couple vids of trials for those who dont know what it is.

i might get the norco evolve, way cheaper ($900) but if i did get that one id need to get some hydraulic disc brakes for the front and hydraulic rim brakes out back and that might set me back another $200. i dont like the sea tho... id prbably use it but i dont like the look of one. and i wouldnt want gears..
i watched ryan leech's 'manifesto' video today( ryan leech is a famous trials rider if you dont know) and it was insane.

Man you do not know how badly I need a new bike. I spent a ton of money fixing up my quad and now that I fixed my mtd I realised 1) I love the sport and 2) My bike is a total POS! I'm searching for stuff to sell to fund a new bike.
