Hey All,

What do you think about this? Does anyone run this already? I spoke with the guy who made it earlier today, and he swears by it. I'm thinking about getting one of them. It's supposed to be pretty sick for a one speed set up...

They are great for speed on flat ground. They are not good for off road hilly running. If you have alot of hills where you are I would not recommend that set up, if it's mostlly flat then I would recommend it. When ever we sell a set up we email and ask the people what kind of conditions they will be running in before shipping it out.

I just like the idea of not stripping gears very often. Does this just lose power on hills? I like driving (trying to drive) around a local dirt track. I like being able to drive where ever I feel like driving (ie. through grass, on dirt, up hills, over jumps, and just plain flat. I'm not really a catagorized driver (yet). I just like to go play.

ehroof...how much does this effect your off road or uphill driving??? when i spoke with dennis, he seemed pretty stoked about it...

a better question would be...How does this upgrade affect your vehicles in any way?

It does effect your ability to climb steep grades and hills, I've had numerous customers come back sayign it effects the hill climbing ability of the truck, that's all I'm saying. Other wise for the track and for flat ground it's a killer speed upgrade.

Cool. Thanks guys. I'll probably just try one out, and if for some reason I don't like it...I'll switch back to the stock set up.

BTW...do you strip less gears with it???

Yes the gears last much longer. I dont know how steep of hills they are talking about losing power but I took it on a motorcross track up and over the big double and tripples and it was great.
