Forgot to say, here are the photos of the Yellow Aircraft wing joiners, the small section we are going to fix permantly into the wing centre section, attaching to the main spar, the longer section will be attached to the wing tips, when the tips are fitted the attachment screws can be got at through the retract well, not sure what to do about the trailing edge attachment yet? i may just fit a dowl to locate it? Sure does make me want to get back onto the old Corsair again!!

HI EVERYONE. WELL THE OLE GIRL FLEW THIS MORNING!!!!!!!!!! 3 CLICKS OF LEFT TRIM AND 2 OF DOWN TRIM. THE TAKE OFF WAS VERY SMOOTH,LOADS OF EVIDENT THRUST. CLIMED TO A GOOD HEIGHT AND FLEW AT 1/2 THROTTLE FOR 8 MINUTES. PULLED THE LEGS DOWN ,FULL FLAP ON FINAL APPROACH.NO HEADWIND, LANDED AT A SENSIBLE SPEED. VERY HAPPY BUNNY TODAY.
NEED TO MAKE THE COWL FIXING POINTS MORE POSITIVE,AND CHANGE TO GIANT ROBART PIN HINGES AS THE REST OF THE SURFACES HAVE. THEN ALL THE TASTY COCKPIT DETAILS AND MORE FINAL WEATHERING . AT A LATER DATE,I NEED A BASIC IDEA FOR THE FITTING OF MAIN RETRACT DOORS TO THE MAINS.MAY FIT A RETRATABLE TAIL WHEEL WHEN FUNDS ALLOW. THAKS RAY

Heres a couple of pics lads. yes i`m still learning, but having fun as well. Will make the leg pants soon. thinking about how to do it at the moment though. REGARDS RAY
Looking good mate!! all those details are what makes a scale aircraft, keep up the good work, i build my cockpits in sections at a time, il try and find some photos, i make fairings from lithoplate with a thin ply backing to strengthen them up, i make 'stand offs' from either ply or hardwood just glued to the keyed leg, you could make up small straps to go round the leg, then bolted through the doors? ill take some close ups while im down the workshop tomorrow night to try to help.
