Status: offline 		I have just aquired a crashed C-47 that I plan to rebuild. It has a pair of G-38s and everything else is pretty normal. Any advice on what to get/use/do would be greatly appreciated.

Status: offline 		How much is damaged on the bird? What material is the plane made of? First of all, I would send all of the electronics to Radio South for inspection. Don't take any unnecessary chances with that stuff. Secondly, I would take everything out of the plane and clean the whole thing up from tip to stern. Third, I would start making patches out of the same matewrial the plane is made of and use 30 minute epoxy to repair.

Status: offline 		I agree. Actually I'm replacing the radio annyway. Ii am making a list of ribs and bulkheads so I can get them laser cut and I'll go from there. One Nascelle needs to be completel trashed and a new one built, but the rest is a glorified patch.....I hope.

Status: offline 		Hi. Thanks for your interest.

I won't really get started until winter sets in. It's my Winter Project this year. I have sent the two G-38s away for repair and I have a list of required ribs and bulkheads that I will need and I've created a Visio wiring diagram. But that's about all.

As I progress with the project I will be posting reports and pictures. So tune back later (Probably after Jan 1 will be the start in ernest date)
