Tony, I think it is what they refer to as Foliage Green. I don't think that OD is the proper color for the darker green but I could be wrong on this. If nothing else see if you can find a cheap plastic model in the same scheme. They usually come with very good painting instrcutions including colors. For that matter, a good plastic model guy at your local HS could probably point you to the correct Model Master or Testors colors which you could then match. Or, try posting your question on the Hyperscale forum here: http://www.clubhyper.com/forums/forum.htm

This is a plastic model web site and I'd bet you'd have your answer within 15 minutes. This site gets more posts than any other site I know of! Best of luck, Chad Veich.

Tony,

From what I have seen, mostly from the plastic model guys, the Vietnam colors they are using are the following:

Testor's plastic model paints
FS36622 Camouflage Grey (Aircraft Bottom)
FS34102 Medium Green (Light green color)
FS34079 Dark Green (the darker OD color green)
FS30219 Dark Tan (looks like a light tan to me though)

I don't know how accurate they are, but a lot of the plastic guys are using these colors on Skyraiders, F-4s, F-105s and more. These are the colors I plan on using for my Ziroli Skyraider whenever I get around to building it.

Good luck and post a pic or two when you are done with it.
