You need proof or you will be heavily flamed.

digital pic of the radar gun with 103 on it with no moving objects in the back ground (other than the car). digital video with month, day, year, hour, minute, second, and millisecond (host it on youtube or the like). surface temp, air temp, humidity, barometric pressure. someone to verify that it is reality. its just the more proof you can provide the less skeptical people will be.

We'll also need the wind direction and velocity for accuracy...

Yeh, a stock CT4R with a Novarossi .21, 100mph is highly unlikely (meh, impossible). If it were possible don't you think the speed competition would be filled with stock CT4Rs with .21s, instead of heavily modified very lightweight cars with .28 engines and insane gearing. You would have won a lot of recognition at the speed competition if your claims were true. 100mph from a nitro car is virtually unheard of. I know of only two people on the forum who have done it, and they needed custom gearing and heavy mods to the chassis of their cars (HPI Nitro RS4 2s I believe). If the radar gun really showed 103 mph then it was faulty I'm afraid. What you need to do is make a speed trap. Measure out a fixed distance between two points. Start the stopwatch when it crosses point A and stop it when it crosses point B. With the time and the distance, you can work out very accurately how fast it was going.

EDIT: Oh, by the way, rubber tires...mmmm. Foams are absolutely essential for those kinds of speeds.

We'll also need GPS coordinates of the car at time of start up and Precise angle if the sun and moon and your drivers license and social security number to make sure you are really who you say you are and that you really did go that fast! HAHAH JK!

103 mph MAN thats fast! id love to see that in person! very very cool!

I have a ct5 that the claim goes 74mph. I don't think it goes that fast, the motor can't pull the optional gearing that it comes with. But I did put in a Picco .27 in once last winter, fits in the stock motor mount, and the belts came apart after the third or fourth pass. But, that was a fast car, but nowhere near 100mph.

The thing is that if the stock car goes around 74, Just adding a fortunate .21 Italian modifacation thanks to the large motor mount on the ct4 putting a novarossi is easy. The NX-15 has about 1.6 horse power at 35000 rpms, if any of you guys were smart then you would of herd of power to weight ratio............scratch the gearing cens 2 speed is nothing but proper, in order for high speed enhancing. I am putting a O.S. 21 VZ-R turbo 2 with the centriforce.
this engine has twice the HP with 7000 more rpm so getting another 25 mph seems possible. I'll get a speed meter then i will post it up proper. I talked to the cen racer who works in the factory, there was no jig riggin straight performance. All that was in question is getting the right motor for the ct4r and switching the drive train for the high end with cens kit so i'd fall back, until Youve tried it.
