dingo9882 -> ignition battery question (9/21/2007 9:35:28 PM)

Well, here I go! I have a 1500mah 5 cell battery from no BS batteries. It has an 7.5 cell impedence as well. I am currently running this battery for the ignition of a gas plane. Here is my question. The ignition has a constant draw of 350mah from the time you turn it on. From the info I just gave you guys, how long do you guys think I am able to run the ignition on that battery safely. About how many flights will I get?

if it draws 350mA and the pack is 1500 mAh (if that is the measured discharge amount) and you leave 20% in the pack you are looking at something like 3.5 hours or so.

Not sure what you mean by 7.5 cell impedence and how that has to do with this though. I know what impedence of a pack is and all, but I'm not sure exactly what that has to do with this... maybe you know more than I do =)

Or should I say that I know a whole lot less then you guys. That is why I am asking such a stupid question.[:D][:)]
